Privacy: It is the policy and practice of betterrestonline.com not to divulge nor to share personal information gathered by the betterrestonline.com on-line order process except as is necessary to complete the order as described below.At the conclusion of an order betterrestonline.com may transmit the shopper’s name, address, and credit card information to an on-line processing gateway which validates the information and credits the merchant’s account with the amount of the order. We only provide the information required to authorize the payment of the order. The betterrestonline.com shopping cart uses "cookies" placed on the shoppers computer to control the cart as items are selected and eventually ordered. The "cookie" also allows the shopper to return later to the web site and continue shopping where they left off. Only the member account number and order identification are maintained. No personal information is gathered or transmitted. If betterrestonline.com were required by a court order or by law to provide personal information, we would provide the minimum information requested. If we suspect fraudulent transactions we may provide personal information to help in the investigation.
Security: All on-line shopping cart and check out pages are processed using the industry standard SSL encryption technology. When a merchant views and downloads order information, SSL encryption is used.Sensitive information such as credit card numbers, merchant login ID, and merchant transaction keys are encrypted using an algorithm equivalent to the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and is significantly stronger than DES or triple DES encryption. Credit card information is automatically erased from the order database 30 days after the order is completed. Therefore, in the unlikely event that the order information were compromised, the potential loss would be limited to credit card information collected in the last 30 days. All sensitive data is stored on a different server than the web server. All servers are protected by a fire wall. The database containing the order information is mirrored on a separate server. Copies of the database are transferred daily to a separate computer and another location.

Returns: Since we constantly strive to keep our prices as low as possible while offering quality merchandise, we must impose certain restrictions on return items. Be assured that any item found to be defective (see warranty info), damaged in shipping, or an item different from that which was ordered, will certainly be replaced. We must be notified within two weeks of ship date of merchandise that the defect, damage or error exists. If you find you must return an item for another reason, please be aware of the following restrictions:
No return will be accepted without a return authorization number. Call 888-331-5289 between 10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m., MT, 7 days a week to receive a return authorization number.
Item must be returned to the following address. Do not return to other addresses that may be on the shipping label or your credit will be delayed, and extra shipping charges may be incurred

Item must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging. Water mattresses are shipped vacuum packed. This vacuum must be intact, with no water having been put in mattress
A 20% handling fee will be charged on all returned items to cover our cost of original shipping, reboxing, restocking, and paperwork

Package should be sent freight prepaid. All packages sent freight COD will be returned to sender at sender's expense. As an alternative, you can notify us that you wish to use one of the following procedures
Be sure to return by a method that offers proof of delivery, as we will be unable to issue credit for an item we have not received
An item will be considered a return, even if another item has been purchased
Warranties:
Warranties on the products we sell are manufacturer's warranties, not store warranties, although on the rare occasion that you encounter a defect in a product we have sold you, we will try to assist you in handling the warranty properly. Please keep your original store receipt for proof of purchase of a particular item. Warranties cannot be handled without it. Credit card receipt is not adequate. It is not our responsibility to locate copies of your receipt. If the item is a mattress, defects are generally seam, corner, or valve leaks. Leaks in the body of the mattress are considered accidental punctures, and can be repaired with a patch kit. If you experience a leak in your mattress, it will be necessary for you to locate the source of the leak. Once located, if you suspect the leak to be a defect, you can either contact the manufacturer, or contact us, to get a replacement for you, and help you through the return procedure. No refunds will be issued for bedding damaged due to improper laundering or handling. All returned items will be inspected by the service department to determine the existence of a defect. We reserve the option to replace, repair, deny return, or issue credit. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
